Crew selected for an event can claim food, travel, stay, equipment or other costs. Travel claims record where from, where to and how you travelled.
Receipts are required
Every claim needs photos of the bill, and an online payment also needs a screenshot of the payment. Nothing is approved on a verbal promise.
Decided by the people running the event
The event's coordinator approves claims, or the organizer when there is no coordinator. They can approve in full, lower the amount with a note, or reject with a reason, and the crew member sees the decision.
A clear claim window
Claims stay open from the moment you are selected until a few days after the event ends, or until the organizer closes claims early once nothing is pending.
Everything lands in one event bill
Approved expenses and tips are added to the organizer's event bill, so there is a single record of what the event cost. Evexa's service fee is not charged on expenses or tips.
Tips that go entirely to the crew
An organizer can tip crew members who attended. The full amount goes to the crew member, with an optional thank-you message.

Frequently asked questions
Who can claim expenses?
Only crew who were selected for that event. Claims are made per event, so each one is checked against the work it belongs to.
What if my claim is lowered or rejected?
The approver has to leave a note when they lower an amount and a reason when they reject a claim, and you can see both in the app.
Does Evexa take a cut of tips?
No. A tip goes 100% to the crew member, and Evexa's service fee is not charged on tips or on approved expenses.
How long do I have to submit a claim?
Until a few days after the event's last day. The organizer can also close claims early once every claim has been decided.
